Directions to Summer Haze Pottery

1.  From Rt. 17 at the Coleman Bridge:

After crossing the Coleman Bridge into Gloucester County take Rt.17 north approx. 13 miles.   Bear right onto Bus.17 at the Walmart intersection.   Follow Bus.17 to the first traffic light – this will be at the intersection of Bus.17 and Rt.14.

Turn right at the traffic light onto Rt.14.

Travel 7 miles to Rt.3

Turn left on Rt.3 and travel 2 miles to Rt.198

Turn right on Rt.198 and travel towards Cobbs Creek.

2. From West Point

Coming through West Point you’ll stay on Rt.33 until you come to the intersection with Rt.17 at Glenns.  Cross over Rt.17.  Rt.33 then changes to Rt.198.  Travel approx. 5 minutes on Rt.198 where you’ll come to a stop sign and Rt.198 will take a left turn.  After turning left onto Rt.198 you’ll travel about another 15 minutes or so until you come to Rt. 626 (Hallieford Rd.).  While on Rt.198 you’ll pass the intersections with Rt 3 before coming to Cobbs Creek.  For the remaining directions scroll down to “Last leg of your journey”.

3. From Middlesex County

Traveling from Middlesex County and the Northern Neck you’ll travel Rt.33/3. In Hartfield bear right onto Rt.3 and travel across the Piankatank River Bridge.  Coming off the bridge you’ll stay on Rt.3 for only a few miles until you come to a stop sign at the intersection with Rt.198.  Turn left onto Rt.198 heading towards Cobbs Creek.

“Last leg of your journey”

  When traveling on Rt.198 you’ll come to Cobbs Creek. After this the route numbers will go from 629 to 630 to 631 and then back to 626.  Turn left on Rt.626 (there will be a green sign for Hallieford here) and go 1 ¼ miles.  We are #1454 – an old white farm house with blue shudders on the right.  We have a horseshoe driveway so if you miss the first turn you can go to the second turn and come around to the back.  We have a small slate Summer Haze Pottery sign at the front near the first turn into our driveway.  Call if you get lost – 804-725-7977
